Patient Satisfaction Award

OBGYN Specialists is the very proud recipient of the FPA Overall Patient Satisfaction Award.  It is through the efforts of our entire healthcare team that we were able to achieve this special award.  And, a big thank you to our wonderful patients who recognize us and reward us with their loyalty.  We all feel lucky to be part of this amazing team and we work hard to maintain the honor.

Surgical Achievements

Dr. K. Anthony Shibley is a recognized leader and educator, both nationally and internationally, in single-incision, minimally invasive surgery.  We are proud of Dr. Shibley’s accomplishments and we are glad he is part of our team.

Dr. Shibley was the only invited international faculty to the "Hands on workshop in advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgery". organized by the Dept of ob/gyn at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Union Hospital and the Hong Kong Gynecaeological Endoscopy Society.  Dr. Shibley performed live surgery at 3 hospitals in Hong Kong in addition to giving lectures and providing hands-on laboratory training.

Dr. Stephen Larson’s career has included many special awards in vaginal surgery.  Dr. Larson has authored many articles and presentations.  Dr. Larson’s presentations on gynecologic surgery have been given both nationally and internationally.    

Additionally, Dr. Larson is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the “Vaginal Surgeons Award” given by the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons, Honorary Membership in the Portuguese Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, and he was named an Adjunct Professor in the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women's Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Larson is also in the process of a comprehensive study of vaginal surgery cases.  To date, Dr. Larson has compiled over 2000 cases.

As the founding partner of Obgyn Specialists, Dr. Larson has mentored and inspired all of our physicians to achieve the highest level of expertise in surgical care.

Speaking and Faculty Honors

Dr. K. Anthony Shibley has been selected as faculty for the upcoming annual International Society of Gynecologic Endoscocopy (ISGE).  Dr. Shibley will be presenting and teaching a hands-on course for his technique in single-incision minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.  Dr. Shibley has been recognized nationally and internationally for advancing his specialized approach. Kudos to Dr. Shibley for his achievement and innovation.

Dr. K. Anthony Shibley has been accepted to do a poster presentation at the upcoming annual American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) meeting. 

Mpls St Paul Top Docs

Drs. Stephen Larson, K. Anthony Shibley, and Suzin Cho have all been named as Top Docs.  Mpls StPaul Top Docs are outstanding physicians who were nominated by their peers-- 5,000 local doctors and nurses--as being among the best health care providers in the Twin Cities.

Each year, the magazine asks 2,500 randomly selected physicians and 2,500 randomly selected registered nurses which doctors they would go to in select specialties.

Dr. Suzin Cho is a multiple year award winner as a best doctor for women

A survey was sent to nearly 10,000 doctors and medical professionals in the Twin Cities, asking them to nominate the best doctors for women in nearly 40 specialties. To be a Top Doctor for Women, doctors are nominated by their peers.
